In 2012 I had surgery on my right foot and while it really has healed nicely and doesn’t bother me anymore, I have had a lot of leg pain recently. I could not figure out where the pain was coming from – was it a tight I.T. band (possibly), was I getting shin splints again (but I am not running), why does my foot feel numb or cold sometimes – basically I got to the point where I didn’t care what was causing the pain, I just needed it to stop.
I was talking with the instructors at the fitness center and one of them suggested trying out a Calf Compression Sleeve. Now these are similar to compression stockings, but they don’t cover your feet. Since my feet are always hot one moment and cold the next, the sleeve option was perfect.
I ordered a pair of Blitzu Calf Compression Sleeves and started wearing them immediately. Can you say GAME CHANGER? I typically work out in the morning, work from home at my computer during the day and then am on my feet coaching gymnastics for 4 hours in the late afternoon. After just a few days of wearing the Compression Calf Sleeves, I have felt a dramatic improvement in my pain. My legs don’t hurt, they are not tired and achy feeling and I don’t feel the dramatic changes in temperature either.
After doing some research, I think I have been dealing with circulation issues and the calf compression sleeves really help with that. These are meant to fit very snug – I ordered the L/XL size and they do take some work to get them on, but once they are on, they are very comfortable and my legs feel so much better!
You can find Calf Compression Sleeves at most sporting good stores, but I ordered my Blitzu Calf Compression Sleeves on Amazon.
