As I have said before, Adidas is one of my favorite brands. Everything they make looks sharp – whether you are going to the gym, the grocery store, or the game. When I found out that they made a line of workout wear in plus sizes I immediately went looking for a lightweight jacket I could wear to golf in, use for my walks or just put on for a little extra warmth on cool days. You can find the line of Adidas Womens Plus Size activewear in some Dick’s Sporting Goods stores and I found this selection of Adidas womens plus size jackets for fall at a variety of online retailers. Ready for Fall in Nike Plus Size Women’s Gear

The single best top I bought this summer was a Nike Dri-Fit Golf shirt in a 2XL. That shirt looked good whether I was running to the store or playing 18 holes on a hot, humid day! It certainly has made me a fan of the Nike Dri-Fit line!

While doing some online shopping this morning, I found THE PERFECT fall fitness outfit from Nike! They now have their Dri-Fit pant in women’s plus sizes in both a full length pant and a capri. The Nike Be Strong Dri-FIT pants are constructed with sweat-wicking Dri-FIT fabric to help keep you cool and dry as you exercise, have flat seams and gusset reduce chafing and promote freedom of motion, include a security pocket for your key or change, and have a relaxed leg fit. They also come in sizes 1X, 2x, and 3x.

Add the Element half zip top in hot pink and their is no chilly morning you can’t face! The Nike Element Half-Zip Top – Women’s Plus Sizes is also made with lightweight Dri-FIT® fabric helps keep you comfortable by moving sweat off your skin for rapid evaporation, has a half-length zipper which allows on-demand ventilation; windflap wraps the top of the zipper to protect chin from abrasion, and mesh insets under arms vent excess body heat.

The top also comes in sizes 1X, 2X, and 3x as well as two colors – black and Voltage Cherry.

Finally A Sports Bra That Fits – Moving Comfort Maia

Sports Bras are typically made for women with small chests – really, they are. And if you are a D cup or higher, good luck finding anything in your local stores that is going to be available, let alone fit!! I was at Dick’s Sporting Goods earlier this week and for some odd reason I decided to check out the rack of sports bras – on the off chance there was something new. I found a whole section of Moving Comfort Maia sports bras – now these looked like real sports bras and when I started seeing sizes like 38DD, 40E, 44DD and so on, I figured it was worth trying one on.

The Moving Comfort Maia sports bra is made for high impact sports like running, tennis, aerobics, and the like. It has a back clasp, wide band, underwire construction, lightly padded cups (perfect for under snug running tops and tanks), and the front is cut high enough that there is no cleavage to be seen! Add to that, it comes in white, beige, light blue and black – nice!!

I bought the size I normally wear in bras – 38DD – and took it home to try it on. IT FIT! Granted, I did have to adjust the straps a bit and I couldn’t just clasp it at the back like I do with my daily bras. That’s ok though – a sports bra should fit snug and this one does! Once the bra was on, I gave it a test run. No bouncing, it was comfortable and it looked good under my clothes, too.

So far I have found the Moving Comfort Maia sports bra in plus sizes at Dick’s Sporting Goods, Zappos, BiggerBras.com, Junonia and the Moving Comfort website. The bra is about $46.00 and comes in a variety of large bust sizes including 38DD, 38E, 40DD, 40E, 42DD and 44DD.

Are you ready for summer yet? I sure am, but one thing I am not sure I am ready for is swimsuit shopping. I just find it so frustrating to find a nice suit that fits. Most ladies swimwear, like dresses, is cut for ladies with average to small busts. Those of us who are well-endowed have a much harder time finding a stylish, well made suit that actually covers the “girls,” gives them support and fits the rest of the bod.

In an effort to start my swimsuit shopping, I have been looking at the options I have online first – at least that way I can narrow down what I like and don’t like.
