Everything they make looks sharp – whether you are going to the gym, the grocery store, or the game. When I found out that they made a line of workout wear in plus sizes I immediately went looking for a lightweight jacket I could wear to golf in, use for my walks or just put on for a little extra warmth on cool days. You can find the line of Adidas Womens Plus Size activewear in some Dick’s Sporting Goods stores and I found this selection of Adidas womens plus size jackets for fall at a variety of online retailers. Click on each image for ordering information. Some of the styles that are not specifically labeled plus size are still available in XL and XXL.

The East Coast got hit hard with the biggest snow storm its seen in years. We ended up with over 20″ of snow in one weekend and weather forecasters are calling for a snowy winter in general. I am definitely in need of new snow pants and could probably do with a new winter coat too.

Junonia has a few different snow pant styles in plus sizes as well as three different winter coats that are perfect for skiing, hiking and generally getting out and getting active even in the cold.

Not knowing what the weather will really be like, I figured I would need a lightweight jacket and maybe some capris. I went to our local Dick’s Sporting Goods because I know they carry the Slagenzer ladies golf line – which fits me great, – and they carry a large selection of Adidas Plus size gear. When I walked in and saw the Adidas display all I could say was WOW! The colors in their fall line are GORGEOUS. The pink is shocking and just gorgeous, the green just pops, and the turquoise is divine.

When I saw the shocking pink wind breaker I was in LOVE! Actually the color is called Ultra Beauty and that it is! I also got the matching V-neck top to go with it. Something tells me I will be easily found on the golf course next week!

It was just enough to remind me that I am definitely going to need a new lightweight jacket for early morning walks, fall tee times, and just day to day errands as the temps start dropping! I had a lightweight jacket from REI a few years ago and loved the way it fit and how it continued to look great no matter how much  I wore it.

I was checking the REI.com site this morning to see what my options were and was actually overwhelmed – let me say, too many good choices! Their women’s plus size jackets not only look great, but they are made to last, too.  Did you know if you sign up for REI Gearmail you can save 15%!

Something about those three-stripes that go from the gym to real life with the greatest of ease! Until recently it was near impossible to find plus size athletic apparel from Adidas. Now I have seen Adidas Plus Size clothing at Zappos (love them because they offer free shipping on purchases and returns), 6pm.com and Dick’s Sporting Goods. The plus size line consists of some jackets, short sleeve and long sleeve tops, shorts, capris in many styles, long pants and sports bras. Perfect for yoga class, walking, going to the gym and just about any activity really!
