Weekly Workout LinkyAh Monday! A clean slate. A day where the future is bright and the week holds limitless possibilities, right? Right. And by Wednesday all your well meaning plans for the week have been side tracked, put on hold, or swept under the rug.

On one of my other sites, Raising A Healthy Family, one of the habits I have gotten into is Menu Planning. Every Sunday afternoon I sit down and plan out the family dinners for the week. I post them on my site and join in the Menu Plan Monday linky each week. Not only does that end the “What’s for dinner?” conversation each afternoon, it also saves me money, helps us eat healthier and it holds me accountable for this positive change.

I am going to start using the same concept on this site – I will post my weekly workout plan. Now, it is just a plan – I give myself the flexibility to change it up if the weather is gorgeous and I just “have to go golfing” instead of doing Kettleworx – but by putting it out there, I think I will do a better job of making it work all week long!

So, here is my plan for this week:

  • MondayKettleworx Resistance week 1 (Check. Done this morning right after I got the kids to school.)
  • Tuesday – Walk 3.5 miles at a brisk pace
  • WednesdayKettleworx Core week 1
  • Thursday – Looks like this may be the warmest day this week so I will try to get a 2-3 mile jog in that day or else it will be a rest day
  • FridayKettleworx Cardio week 1
  • Saturday – Light jog or brisk walk if warm enough, if not, may do 30 min on elliptical instead
  • Sunday – Rest
