Moving Comfort is one of the tried and true brands when it comes to women’s fitness wear. Two women founded the company in 1977 after getting sick of trying to run in men”s shorts that were just uncomfortable. Have you seen the great new line of Plus Size workout wear from Nike? So far I have found it at Zappos.com (which has free shipping both ways – perfect if you have to do a return) and Dick’s Sporting Goods. I really like the Nike Plus Size Dedication Long Bras – super comfortable – and available in four colors. Most of the items from the Nike Plus Size line are available in 1X, 2X and 3X. Liz Claiborne Plus Size Ladies Golf Shirts

With golf season right around the corner I am looking to replace some of last year’s favorites (that look like they were favorites) with some new golf shirts. I just discovered that Liz Claiborne, one of my favorite designers, has an entire line of plus sized women’s golf apparel. The golf shirts come in 1X (14-16W), 2X (18-20W) and 3X (22-24W) so you can look great and still feel like you have the fit you need. I love that you can get a sleeveless version with wicking fabric, too.

Plus Size Wicking Fabric Workout Apparel

The new wicking fabrics are wonderful for workouts, golf, tennis, walking and just about any activity under the sun. These fabrics are designed to pull moisture away from the skin leaving you a lot more comfortable while exercising.

Finding nice workout wear for plus size women using this new wicking fabric is a challenge. Luckily the Junonia brand has a large selection of items ranging from jackets to tops, leggings, bike shorts, skorts and undergarments made from their QuikWik moisture-wicking, quick-drying fabric. Adidas Womens Short Sleeve V-neck Shirt

I have a thing for Adidas – there is just something so clean and sharp about their workout clothes. They are definitely some of the best made and they make the transition from workout gear to cheering on the sidelines to running errands with the greatest of ease.

One of my favorite Adidas shirt styles is their classic v-neck with the Adidas logo on the front and their signature 3 stripes on the shoulders (adidas Women’s Stretch Cotton Short Sleeve Top).

The shirt is 95% cotton and 5% spandex which means it moves with you and keeps its shape nicely. I love the fact that this top is cut to flatter your curves, not flatten them! It comes in a variety of color combinations (depending on the season) and is available in 1X, XXL and XXXL.
